Brain Check: p-Tau217 (Phosphorylated tau 217), NfL (neurofilament light), GFAP (glial fibrillary acidic protein) Note: These tests are not intended to provide a diagnosis, but to detect early signs leading to Alzheimer’s dementia to provide the opportunity for preventative strategies.

APOE: APOE Alzheimer’s Risk
Biotoxin Inflammatory/Genetic: TGF-Beta 1, MSH (Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone), MMP-9, VEGF, HLA DR1/3/4/5, DQ
Galectin-3: This test measures the level of Galectin-3, a protein, in the blood
Glial Fibrillary Acid Protein: This test is used for measurement of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in EDTA plasma
LucentAD: The Quanterix LucentAD tests aids in the evaluation of patients experiencing cognitive symptoms consistent with early signs of Alzheimer’s disease
Neurofilament Light Chain, Plasma: This test is used for the measurement of the level of Neurofilament Light Chain in plasma
pTau-217, Plasma: This test is used to aid in the biological identification of Alzheimer’s disease by measuring phosphorylated tau 217, which has been shown in the literature to be a surrogate of amyloid pathology. Additionally, pTau-217 can be used for monitoring patients on newly approved anti-amyloid therapy
Stress + Hormone Profile: The Stress & Hormone Profile measures salivary levels of key hormones – Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEAS, Cortisol– with the addition of daytime levels of Melatonin and Secretory IgA, key indicators of immune and stress imbalance or dysfunction.
Please note that the purchase of the following tests: LucentAD and the Stress + Hormone Profile require physical kits to be shipped to your home to complete testing.
The following tests: Brain Check, Brain Check 2, APOE, Biotoxin Inflammatory/Genetic, Galectin-3, GFAP, Neurofilament Light Chain, and pTau-217 tests require you to complete testing at a local draw site. You will not need a physical test kit to complete your draw. To complete your order for any of the tests mentioned above, please fill out the billing, shipping, and payment fields below. DHA Laboratory will send you a list of local laboratories and instructions to complete your blood draw via email.
