Please note, this test is performed by LabCorp and will not require a physical test kit to complete your draw. DHA Laboratory will send you a list of local LabCorp Patient Service Centers, patient prep instructions and a requisition form via email. Please print the requisition form and bring that in with you to LabCorp to complete your draw. Performing Laboratory: LabCorp

Luteinizing hormone (LH) is associated with reproduction. This test measures the amount of LH in the blood. Because it helps stimulate the release of an egg from the ovary (ovulation) in women or testosterone production in men, the test is usually used to pinpoint the cause of infertility, identify possible pituitary disorders, and diagnose conditions that impact the function of the ovaries or testicles.

Patient Preparation: Discontinue any supplements containing Biotin for 72 hours prior to specimen collection.
