Amino acid imbalances are frequently underlying factors in disorders such as ADD, depression, Tourette syndrome, tic disorder, OCD, seizures and others.
URINE: 25 mL of first morning urine before food or drink is required.
The 24 hour urine collection requires that the patient collect every urine specimen over a 24 hour period.
WHOLE BLOOD: 7 mL of whole blood collected after overnight fast in a lavender top EDTA tube is required.
