Please note, this test is performed by LabCorp and will not require a physical test kit to complete your draw. DHA Laboratory will send you a list of local LabCorp Patient Service Centers, patient prep instructions and a requisition form via email. Please print the requisition form and bring that in with you to LabCorp to complete your draw. GlycoMark® testing provides an estimate of the patient’s post-meal glucose over a one- to two-week period, making it ideal for intermediate term monitoring of glycemic control in diabetic patients. GlycoMark® testing can also help monitor the effectiveness of therapeutics targeting postprandial glucose (PPG) and is a useful adjunct to routine A1c testing, because it responds more rapidly and sensitively to hyperglycemia than A1c.
