Please note, this test is performed by LabCorp and will not require a physical test kit to complete your draw. DHA Laboratory will send you a list of local LabCorp Patient Service Centers, patient prep instructions and a requisition form via email. Please print the requisition form and bring that in with you to LabCorp to complete your draw. The EBV Nuclear Antigen Antibodies, IgG test can aid in the diagnosis of EBV infections (infectious mononucleosis). EBV nuclear antigen (EBNA) IgG antibodies do not appear during the acute phase of infection but appear around 2-4 months after initial clinical presentation and typically persist for life. The presence of EBNA IgG antibodies in healthy individuals typically indicates past immunological exposure to EBV; however, false positive results can occur
